The Hospitality House in North Minneapolis has opened the door for us to serve at their facility. Rev John Hunter, who directs this great work, has invited our men to befriend the kids who live in and around this beautiful facility. On Saturdays the men of Alpha HouseA man’s destiny is realized through a wholehearted commitment to be a disciple of Jesus Christ come along side the children to enjoy activities such as Basketball, Dodgeball, Arts and Crafts, Reading, Computer learning and other fun activities. The kids are served lunch and a good time is had by all.
Many of the men at our home in Golden Valley are fathers with a tender heart for children. This uniquely qualifies them to connect deeply with other kids in need of loving care and attention. One of our men actually brings his own kids along on Saturday mornings. Sharing in this outreach as a house is a testimony to the joy of ‘Doing Life Together.’
