To develop ‘discipleship communities’ in the Twin Cities area for the purpose of employing, housing, mentoring, training and developing leaders who will return to the city and minister to men coming out of addiction, crime and homelessness.
Truth We believe for a man to be free from the lies that have kept him in bondage for many years, he must be firmly rooted in the truth of God’s Word. | We believe a man must agree to strive for sexual purity. Physical relationships outside a healthy marriage almost inevitably lead to relapse. |
Community We believe it is best for a man to live in community with other Christian men where the reality is total honesty and accountability. As soon as a man either isolates or returns to his ‘old’ relationships he is on the road to relapse. | We believe ‘wholeheartedness’ is the antidote to boredom and that until a man discovers what he was created by God to do and can give himself to his calling wholeheartedly, he will not find fulfillment. |
Vocation We believe a man must find a vocation that suits him and be willing to undergo any level of preparation and training necessary to achieve a level of excellence in his chosen field. | We believe a man must learn how to handle money in a mature manner. A recovering man with a pocketful of cash has a high potential for relapse. |
Service We believe the only way to grow into maturity is to focus on giving ourselves to others who are less fortunate than we are. |
